Discovering Frankfurt with Marino
General information on Frankfurt
Frankfurt is the financial center of Germany and one of the largest in Europe, where the Federal Bank of Germany, the European Central Bank, and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange - third in the world with regard to the exchange of stocks - are based. The German city, however, is not only a financial capital: it is included in the top 10 of the best cities to live in and among the safest cities in the world, with many interesting tourist attractions, ranging from arts to outdoor activities, from shops to its famous skyscrapers. A sightseeing tour through the city could not leave out a visit to the Main Tower, 200 meters tall, from which you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Frankfurt. Also recommended is a walk along the main river that traverses the center of the city, bordered on both banks by some of the best museums in Germany. However, the symbol of Frankfurt is certainly the Romerberg, the historic heart and square of the town hall since 1405.
